What we collect
- Account details: your email address and the first name you choose.
- Listings: photos, cart details and general location (city, state, ZIP). We never show your street address.
- Messages you send on CartPiko. Our systems hide phone numbers, emails and links and keep the original text only for safety review.
- Searches on our Compare page, which we send to partner marketplaces such as eBay to get results. We don’t send your name or email with them.
- Device and usage data from our hosting provider, and analytics only if you allow it.
How we use it
To run the marketplace, deliver messages, prevent fraud and scams, answer support requests, and improve the site. We don’t sell your personal information for money.
Cookies and similar storage
We use essential storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you agree, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. See our Cookie policy or change your cookie choices.
Partner links
When you click a link to eBay or another store, you leave CartPiko and that site’s own privacy policy applies. Partner sites may set their own cookies to credit us for referrals.
Who we share it with
- People you interact with see your first name, listings and messages.
- Service providers that host the site, database and email for us.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to stop fraud.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. To use these rights, email [privacy@cartpiko.com] or use cookie choices. We won’t treat you differently for using them. You can delete your listings any time from your account.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account is open. Messages are kept for safety for up to 2 years after a conversation ends, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Children
CartPiko is for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
